Some people prefer showers over baths for they are quick and are best at doing their job. But a big plus point of baths is that they are a lot more relaxing, luxurious and the steam is good for you. Many people are aware of bath bombs and how they can make your normal bath extraordinary. What people do not know about are shower disks.

And the best thing about these shower disks is that you can make at your home. The whole procedure should roughly take 30 minutes. They also need pretty simple ingredients that you can get a hold of easily. Here’s a quick and easy tutorial for you to know how to make a shower disk:
Ingredients:
- Water
- Cornstarch
- Baking Soda
- Muffin Liners
- Essential Oils (no specific one, but recommended is Peppermint Essential oil)
- 1 Muffin Tin
Method:
Get a glass bowl and mix in it 1 tbsp. of cornstarch, ⅓ cup of water and a cup of baking soda. Mix them all thoroughly with a fork until you get a thick paste that can still flow. You might need to add a dash of extra water.
Pour this paste into your muffin tins. They should be a quarter full only. Place them in the oven for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
After your shower muffins have sufficiently cooled down add 3-4 drops of whatever essential oil you currently have. Lavender is great for relaxing you. Eucalyptus is best for a fit and strong respiratory system and is just the thing for skin miniaturization. Although kids under 10 years old shouldn’t use it! Peppermint of course gives a strong and refreshing scent to your bath.
